Formula troubles?

Hey mama's. I started with breastfeeding but had to switch to formula...started with Enfamil A+(yellow) and the little guy seemed gassy and having tummy troubles and vomiting. So we switched to similac total comfort. And that seemed to be ok for a few days and now he's really uncomfortable again. Lots of gas and tummy trouble after he eats, watery green poop, not settled. We've been using Gripe water or oval with every feed too. What would be your next suggestion for formula....a lactose free one?? He's also 3 weeks old.

You should talk to your pediatrician. Constantly changing it up isn’t going to be good for your baby’s tummy either. Due to medical issues I had to stop breastfeeding. I use Similac Pro Advanced (silver container). It’s a little pricey but I chose it because it’s supposedly one of closest formulas to breast milk. But please speak to your pediatrician. Like I said constantly changing it is not good for your baby either. See if they have a recommendation.

My son had the same symptoms he also seemed colicy most of the time it was horrible. We also started on yellow enfamil. Then had to try gentle ease and sensitive it was a waste of $. Finally we did enfamil reguline! Best one in my opinion.

Our son started on similac but we switched to enfamil gentlease and that helped him! We now use the generic version of it from BJ’s. Also give it a few days for baby to adjust, make sure you’re pace feeding and burp between every few ounces

See what your pediatrician recommends. There is one I can’t recall the name but for sensitive stomachs/discomfort/gassy babies
