Thrush questions

Hi everyone,

So I took my 1 month old baby to her doctors appt today and he said that it looks like she has thrush. She does have a big white patch on her tongue.

He said he was going to prescribe some type of drops for her that I just needed to put in her mouth. He must have forgot bc the prescription never got called in so I am going to call his office tomorrow.

However, he never mentioned anything about it affecting me too as we are exclusively breastfeeding. Just bc she has it, does that mean I will get it too? How serious even is thrush? Is there anything I need to be doing for myself?
