Subway spicy Italian sandwich?

Is it okay to eat a spicy Italian sandwich from subway if I get it toasted?

Yes! I craved that sandwich for months! So
I asked my OB and she said toasted is completely safe

The concern is listeria. But your y more likely to get it from produce or dairy products. Cold cuts use to the be the main concern . There’s less than 10000 case of listeria contamination between the the US and the UK a year . So the chance of you getting it and from cold cuts is so small . I wouldn’t worry . I would be more careful with produce than the cold cuts . I avoid them when eating out and make sure to wash mine really well at home .
