Dog spay

My pup was spayed yesterday. She’s been doing good so far BUT, she still jumps onto my couch even w her cone on. Yes, I tell her no. I even sit on the floor myself so she can be next to me. But before surgery she always loved her spot on the couch to relax on. I do keep her in her crate but obviously I want to let her out to get a few steps in but right away she goes to the couch.

Is it a good idea to just purchase steps that way she doesn’t jump?

I don’t want to give her sleepy meds just to keep her from getting on the couch cause she goes to sleep anyway when she goes to her spot.
