Birth control causing month long period??

Hi y’all!

So I have endometriosis and was prescribed the pill to help manage it in September. I was also told to skip the placebos. It was going really well and helping so much with my pain and symptoms. However, now, I’ve been on my period for over a month. While it’s not a heavy flow and is occasionally just spotting, it’s still noticeable enough to constantly need period products.

Should I wait to see if it stops? Or should I call my doctor to see what I should do? I was told to wait three months for it to fully adjust to my body, and it’s been almost exactly that long. Do I wait a little longer? Has anyone else had this problem? I’m a bit at a loss right now.
