Frustrated and feeling exhausted
Hi, sorry long post but really need to vent. So I'm FTM, my son is 4 months old- He's a great little guy. My hubby is great guy and I love him to death but I sometimes I feel llike I'm a single parent in the relationship. I'm currently working 3 days a week 7.30am-3.30pm with the option to do overtime. My hubby works 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday. So the days I work my mum or dad come and help out- especially since my son is an early rider around 6 or 7am.
Today my mum comes over and helps out, no problem. My son was sitting next to me while I worked and my mum was getting things ready to take him for a walk. Turns out my son was squealing and cooing with delight to see mama working. My mum was calling out to us must have been to loud as my hubby texted me from our bedroom "hunni you're a bit too loud". I'm like sorry but what do you want me to do? He's a 4 months old and my mum got a little loud so what?
He sleeps from 2am or 3am until 12pm the next day. I do washing, cooking, cleaning and work and raise our son. What else can I do?
Yes my hubby does help and look after our son but still he doesn't get up until midday or 1pm (only on weekends). I'm up at all hours for our son. I'm the one that goes to doctors appointments, makes food, nappy changes etc. I have to ask my hubby to feedd or change him. I sleep 4-5 hour's a night and nap (rarely) when bub is alseep. Yes i do get some help from my mum but still - IT'S ON ME!
