When is it okay to induce

When is it okay to start trying to self induce labor? How many weeks should I be? I see a lot people start between 35 and up?

People who induce at 35 weeks are ignorant. You're baby is PREMATURE at that point. Babies were meant to come out at 35 weeks and we would all give birth at 35 weeks.  Your body will do what it's supposed to when it's ready to enforce your baby to come out before they're ready to come out because you simply can't wait.

Just because you’ve gained a bunch of weight doesn’t mean baby has developed any faster, hence inducing early is very unsafe no matter “how big” you feel or how much weight you’ve gained. Maybe focus all that energy and time on being as healthy as you can these next 13 weeks.

Your baby grows rapidly in the last month putting on the much needed weight/brown for when they are born to then lose (up to) 10% of it, and to regulate their temperature. Babies are intuitive to what they need, so if they're needing to stay in longer then that's what they need🤷‍♀️

Depends on the thing. Each thing has their own time recommendation, some just prep your body for labor and are ok to start earlier (like drinking red raspberry leaf tea for example) and some things risk premature contractions and shouldn’t be done until you’re considered full term or get the ok from your doctor (like attempting to pump milk or curb walking). Maybe you see people doing things at 35 weeks and are assuming they’re labor inducing when they’re not quite that level yet, and that’s where the confusion is coming from. Or maybe those women are super dumb and reckless. Either way just before you try anything you’re unsure of look up the recommended timeframe for it and get the ok from your OB.
