Should I give in and not use condoms??

Question

I’ve been dating this guy for 8 months now and he has always hated using condoms (he says it doesn’t feel as good and he doesn’t feel close to me). I have been on birth control for a while and a couple months ago I gave in and let him stop using condoms. That being said I am constantly worried that I am pregnant and I would rather use condoms and have peace of mind. I would rather know that I am protected to the best extent I can be so I am not the one stuck in a bad situation if I do get pregnant. 
I trust him enough to know that he wouldn’t cheat on me but we are both in college so STI’s are always a risk I have to consider. If anyone can offer some advice on how to talk to him and explain this or if I am being too irrational or paranoid it would be greatly appreciated!!

My advice? Keep using condoms or keep being paranoid, literally your only 3 options. If he can't respect that then he's not the one for you

Keep using conforms, it’s not worth the anxiety. Maybe try a different brand? That can definitely be a boundary you have with him and I think it’s a very reasonable and responsible one

The fact that you said "give in" means you're not using condoms against your will. If he can't respect your boundaries, you shouldn't trust him & you shouldn't be with him. 8 months in & he's already manipulating you to get what he wants.

To answer this please ask yourself this question : why is his feeling of comfort during the (30 minutes?) sex more important than your feeling of security of feeling safe for STI's or pregnancies that lasts through months?
Is his comfort during sex more important than you carrying a baby to term for 9 months if (low and behold) your anticonception would fail somehow? (or you having an abortion 😕) 
Carrying our baby was the thing in my life I am most grateful for, it was the time that I felt amazing and powerful and truly absolutely happy. But comfortable is not how I would describe pregnancy, and I had a very very very easy pregnancy. 
Somehow we women (I do this every day, so I'm generalizing, but it was and still is also part of many cultures) still seem to care more about how our men feel than about how we feel. And we need to start realizing that we are worth equality!
