Bacterial Vaginosis and Preterm labor?
Anyone have a negative fetal fibronectin test and it be wrong? Went to OB triage last night due to contractions that wouldn’t let up. I was diagnosed with BV and given antibiotics and a pill to stop the contractions. Cervix is closed and hard. FB test came back negative. Fast forward to today and contractions are back again. I have this awful feeling the test isn’t accurate. Anyone experience this? I’m at a loss. 28 weeks.
