Anyone’s LO 8 months old now and still not sitting unassisted??

I’m kinda starting to panic 😭

My son will be 8 months on the 17th and he can sit unassisted but for like 1-2 minutes at a time only and then he falls over. He hates to sit in general and will throw himself backwards randomly from the sitting position. I’ve been worrying too but I did see something along the lines of it’s a 7-9 month milestone so I wouldn’t worry just yet

My guy turned 8montjs on April 27th and literally starting sitting unassisted like 2 days later.. I wouldn’t worry. Not all babies are the same remember.  Don’t worry momma, it will happen.

My daughter will be 8 months and on the 27th and can’t sit unassisted yet either. 🤷🏻‍♀️ my older daughter didn’t sit on her own until about 9 months.

Don’t worry!! Honestly my son went from HATING to sit to the next day sitting. It happens very fast when it does happen :)
