Will I pass my birthmark to my daughter?

I have a Café au lait birthmark right on the back of my thigh about 3 inches away from my butt it's the size of my palm its oval shaped. I'm currently pregnant with my daughter and just curious if she will also get one? anyone who has these kinda of birthmarks ever pass them down to your kids?

That type of birthmark is hereditary and can be passed to your children. I know this is easy for me to say not having been someone who has lived with it, but I personally think they are beautiful and is such a unique mark 💙💚 I’m sorry it is something you have struggled with, if it is passed to your daughter, I think she can embrace it and find her own beauty in it 💙💚

I have one on the front of my thigh right in the middle of my thigh.  My son has a smaller, lighter one that is similar in shape on his calf.  Seems he got my birthmark but not the same location.  I love his birthmark and I personally love mine as well.  Mine is about the size of my thumb. His is quite small but may grow in size as he gets older.

I have light colored birthmark on my right side and my kids don't have it. I do have another birthmark on the back of my head that's a cherry color but cant see it due to my hair. My kids both had it when they were little but it went away they don't have it anymore kinda werid.

i have a small one, like the size of a nickel on the back of my thigh, my oldest sister has one the same shape and placement just on the opposite thigh! 
but i also have multiple birthmarks, my thigh, a super light one on the back of my forearm, one on my optical nerve (which obviously isn't noticeable lmao), a small one under my boob, and a super light one on my ankle

I think I have that same type of birthmark but it’s smaller like the size of a quarter on the back of my lower leg and my son didn’t get it
