Implantation Bleeding or period?

Hello, my period is normally 4-6 days and normally on time. This month my period was suppose to come in the 7/8th (Friday/Saturday) on that day I had no cramps, no headaches, and no bleeding. On the 9th I started to see brown/pinkish spots only when I wipe. Today is the 10th and the spotting is heavier on tissue when I wipe not heavy for a pad. It started off as brown/pinkish to being brown and red. I went to put a pad on because I don’t have any panties liners. I do have some cramping but it doesn’t feel like my period cramps. As the day is going the blood is red but around it it’s brown. HELP ! I’ve been trying for almost a year. Is this implantation bleeding or my period being late? (Mind you I never had a period this late)
