Were you nervous on your wedding day? (Read details and comment)

I was with my husband for 8 years before we got married. Leading up to my wedding day people kept asking me if I was nervous. I thought it was an odd question because I never felt even an ounce of nervous to marry him. So I'm curious if the amount of time in a relationship prior to the wedding factors in to the amount of nerves.
