How am I supposed to handle this

So I have been seeing this guy for an year,we connected at very different levels He is younger than me with 2 years and yeah I have been happy with him and being with him. However recently things have not been ok,we have not been talking on phone like before,no late night calls, everything changed..we last got intimate before the Christmas holidays cz we celebrated with our respective families..I fractured my ankle on New Year's eve and had surgery 3 days later and well I had to go stay at my aunt's since she was on maternity leave that way I would not be all alone and bored...He never came to see me any time while I was injured or even after surgery yet he knows where my parents stay...

So yesterday I asked him to let me know what's going on, why he is soo cold and this is what he told me

I don't know how to act...This has been the first time such happened to me.I have dated two guys before I met him and was engaged to my ex fiance then I met him and I called off my engagement....(the reason I broke up with my ex was because he was a serial cheater and he would cheat on me irrespective of how many times he apologized so I got tired and called off and decided to be with this guy cz he treated me better...)

This guy I was seeing at the moment was also breaking up with his ex or so he told me though I would hear them talk once in a while.I really like him soo much and had seen something with him but after telling me this I really don't know what to do,how to handle it...am just Herr thinking that I am not good enough, that maybe having sex with me sucks that's why my ex used to cheat on me...I really need help and advice cz my world is crashing into pieces...I should be concentrating on having my ankle healed but I have been sitting here and crying so much..I am just devastated..😢😢😢🥺🥺🥺😞😞
