Giving away daughters cat

My daughter wanted a pet for a very long time and was so sad when her dog passed years ago. Well, last year we adopted a cat and it was under one rule. She needs to clean the cats litter box and make sure there is never any smell. Well, she cleaned it the first two times. Ever since I have been cleaning after the cat and the house just smells like shit. The cat is very destructive and throws everything. I’m not mad at the cat because she’s funny and that’s what cats do. But I do not want to be cleaning cat litter and I just feel my house so dirty. I am very sensitive to smell and my daughter will put up a fight when it comes to cleaning up. It’s getting really frustrating and I’m thinking about putting up the cat for adoption. I’ve told her many times that if she doesn’t take responsibility for her pet we can’t have her. Thoughts on what I should do? She is 12 years old almost 13 so she is more than capable. At 10 years old I took charge of my pets and made sure their litter was always clean. I’m just getting so stressed out. I hate the smell of crap and piss.
