What bassinet are you buying ?

We are having second thoughts on the mamarooo bassinet that we purchased and thinking about going ahead and buying the snoo. I don’t like the halo bassinet (structure) or any bassinet that just stands and no rocking

We had the snoo and my son HATED it. May have been because we introduced it later than we should have. But he was an awful sleep overall. 
Honestly, I would start with a regular bassinet and see how baby does. You’re better off avoiding sleep crutches (rocking, vibrating, etc.) that you’ll only have to wean from later. If you find baby needs more help sleeping, then try something like that. Just my opinion though.

Honestly, I’m just renting a wooden one and buying a new mattress for it. They only sleep in it for like 3 or 4 months and then I get a deposit back. I used to want the fancy ones but it’s a waste of money in my opinion.

Join the Facebook Snoo BST (buy sell trade) groups and try to find one used in your area! That’s how we found ours!

I have a bassinet that I got off Amazon. But will most likely co sleep. (I don’t want to hear “that’s unsafe” because it is not, and is very natural for the baby to sleep with mother, sure there are “unsafe” ways of bed sharing, but there are also unsafe ways to put your baby to sleep in a crib/bassinet) babies who sleep with their mother actually reduces the risk of sids. I won’t sit here and argue with anyone about that, so if you disagree, just keep scrolling. But I will say, if you want a good bassinet, you should find one where the side rail unzips and the bassinet is right next to your bed, so it’s like baby’s in bed with you, but s/he’s not, but is in arms reach. I don’t think fancy bassinets is the answer for baby to sleep better, the snoo maybe because it moves and whatnot, but I wouldn’t spend that much money on something they use for only so long...that’s my thoughts. If you hear enough good reviews on it, obviously it’s your choice.

We have the 4Moms Mamaroo and our 18 month old LOVED it. So did 2 girlfriends babies that borrowed it, getting ready for baby #2 to sleep in it.

We just have a budget friendly Delta bassinet but that’s only because we put my son in his crib early on (3 months old) and we have his crib open and ready for baby since he’s in his toddler bed now.
