Irregular spotting 1 yr on IUD

So I’ve had more a for a year and just this month I am spotting after having sex with my husband. Idk if this is IUD related or something else. Wanted to get advice before I made an appointment or called. The spotting is happening the day after sex. Lasts for 2-3 days and is VERY minimal (only notice when I wipe) and no I’m not on my period. period should start in 7 days or so. I can’t check my strings because I had a LEEP procedure done 1 year ago that required my strong me cut super short. Anyone have an insights of possibilities?
