Husband choosing not to help with baby

Hi Everyone i just want to ask if its “normal” that your husband chooses not to hep you out with the baby when gets home from work?

Because he’s the only one working so i think he feels like he does that and i take care of the baby. Im a first time mom but he has three kids with his first wife. I dont know if that helps with anything? But i dont know. I feel like its fair and unfair at the same time.

Any thoughts to enlighten me with this?
