Long distance family.

Most of my family lives 3+ hours away. We have several young kiddos. Every baptism, birthday, etc, I send everyone invitations. I send everyone a Christmas card. I invite them even though I know they might not be able to come, but still want to include them. My husband's family lives much further away. We also send them everything. They always respond and say, "Got your invite, so and so is so cute! Thank you for including us even though we can't be there!"

...radio silence from my family. I kind of think I should stop including them? They are far less involved since I left social media. I think it's sad. I try really hard to keep them in the loop still, but they never reach out. Takes too much effort, I suppose. 😩
