Thicker discharge/wet?

Question

My boyfriend and I were getting steamy and he told me my “wetness” was thicker than normal. He described it as syrup/snot rather than the typical water. We’ve been looking online for an answer but can’t seem to find one. Also the discharge on his hand is brown. My period isn’t due for 5 more days. Is this just a freak thing or should I be concerned?

If your discharge is brown it means that it’s old blood or genuinely just getting ready for your cycle. As long as your discharge doesn’t smell and you haven’t got any discomfort I wouldn’t be worried.

Sounds like ovulation to me.  When I ovulate, my discharge gets a lot thicker.

If it’s brown than it’s old blood. It happens sometimes before you get your period. It’s just your uterus getting rid of the old blood that was there from the last period. You may start your period few days early
