Baby doesn’t have separation anxiety

As

I feel a little silly asking this, but …. Everyone always talks about how crying during separation is a good thing because it means they have a good attachment to the parent.

My baby is 10 months old - she’s never been to daycare , she’s always with me/my husband or her part time nanny. Our home is peaceful and quiet.

I took her to a very noisy and chaotic kids play gym yesterday and she had no problem wandering off to explore. She crawled up to a stranger and gestured to be picked up. Smiled at all the strangers.

Part of me is happy she was so adaptable to the chaos since she’s a “covid baby” and we really don’t expose her to much - like, she’s only been to the grocery store 4 times maybe. But the other part of me worries that at this age she is supposed to have some concern being away from me or toward strangers ?
