No period for 2 months now a 10 and counting period?

So I didn’t have my period for two months and then It came 10 days ago and hasn’t stopped or showed signs of stopping. First two days there was black clots like no red blood just straight black and now it’s bright red blood and the heaviest flow I’ve ever had before and been consistently heavy and bright red for 8/10 days. Loads of clots and I went through three pads and several tampons today and it’s only been two hours and I have to change my tampon again 😭

Recent tests: Pap smear in early January everything normal. Last hormone test was spring 2021 and everything was normal. Last blood draw December 100% normal. Covid booster shot (Moderna) 7 days ago. Meds I take is my normal Adderall and melatonin.

Any ideas? I’ve already been through a box and then some of tampons and a bunch of pads. I don’t want to pay for a gyno appointment for them to find nothing wrong I’m just looking to see if anyone else has experienced this and will it stop soon
