anyone married with kids: does your husband get crunk with his friends and stay the overnight outside your family home?

please feel free to comment your husband’s age, especially if 27 or younger. my husband is 27 and younger than me and its often used as a reason to excuse this behavior

It’s completely okay with me if my husband wants to go out with his friends, I will stay home with the kids so he can have a break… I know he would do the same for me if I wanted to socialize or go out for a girls weekend.

I’m totally cool with my husband going out with friends, but not spending the night at a friends house all the time. One or two times? Sure. All the time? Nope.

I’m 27, and my husband is 29. He has gone out twice in a years time.  Got drunk with friends, and stayed the night at his best friends house. I don’t play about drinking and driving and his best friend lives 3 hours away in the next state over. I love that he can cut loose and relax. It always takes a lot of convincing to even get him to go but afterwards he was glad he did. People need breaks, to have fun. Life is for living. He would, and has, done the same for me. 
I’ll also add the disclaimer that we are in a very stable & happy relationship. That may change peoples views on things like that. For us. It’s not even a question.

My husband hasn’t stayed away a night from our family (unless he and I went somewhere together) since our son was born 5 years ago. I actually wish he did go out and enjoy himself a little more but he doesn’t seem to mind. I think it’s fun to go out with friends and crash somewhere for the night. I’m actually the one who did this once when I went with a group of friends to a wine tasting and we ended up planning it with getting a hotel room nearby and taking a shuttle from there to the convention center.

My husband goes out every few months to visit friends (2.5 hours away) and drinks. But he never gets wasted. And he stops at a certain time so that he is able to drive home that night.

My husband and I were both just beyond having the desire to do things like this when we got married. If we were on 2 different pages, we may not have gotten married to begin with. I dont like heavy drunkeness, neither does he. I can see if it's an old friend from school who lives kinda far away and they want to be able to have some drinks without worrying about a drive....fine. But going on and partying....if he was like this before getting married, this would have been a conversation before the fact. If my husband now wanted to start going out and partying, yes that change would worry me that something is up.
