help ???

I was 9 hours late taking one of my pills in my last active row .. (supposed to take at 1 pm everyday and didn’t take until 10 pm) i take the combination pill not the mini .. well a day or two later I was on my placebos where I took nothing .. I did have sex on my placebo pill weekend , no condom but pull out .. i’ve NEVER missed a pill or ever been more than 10 minutes late taking it so how does this work since I was near my placebo pills?! was I still fully protected?
