Have you ever been “love bombed”?

I fell for this guy and when I told my friends they said it seems like he love bombed me cause it happened so fast and now I feel like they are right because he got me a bunch of stuffed animals and flowers and chocolate and matching bracelets and told me he loved me but I found out he never actually broke up with his girlfriend. So I don’t know what to do.

He and his girlfriend did end up break up I told her everything but he has still reached out and wants to stay friends
