Anyone else suffering from diarrhea?

I’m almost 36 weeks pregnant, set to be induced at 37 due to gestational diabetes. Last Wednesday I started having contractions which have since stopped, but since then I’ve had diarrhea or super soft stools. Stool samples show nothing is wrong. I can’t eat a BRAT diet due to the diabetes but I have managed to keep myself hydrated by drinking a lot of water. Is this my body getting ready for active labor? I read that due to hormones before labor it can cause diarrhea. I did finally get my appetite back thankfully. I don’t have any fever or vomiting that would suggest illness either.
