Need Help

I’m been on birth control for the last year and never once skipped my period during that time well my period was supposed to start 3 days ago but never came.

The last time my boyfriend and I had sex was 4 weeks ago exactly I took a test and it came out negative but I’m not sure if it’s accurate is 4 weeks to early to test. When do you start to have symptoms?

Should I get another test, go to my obgyn? If I’m pregnant it’s excited news but I don’t want to tell anyone not even my boyfriend until I know for sure.
