What should I do?

I asked my mom if she wanted to go to this comedy concert with me, and she said yes but she didn’t sound too excited. I offered to pay her way, and that was that. Fast forward my cousin unexpectedly came into town for a couple of days. We are really close and around the same age.

I asked my mom did she really want to go to the concert and she said I do, if you want to. I said if you don’t really want to go, I can take my cousin with me. She said really and got mad. I instantly felt bad and now she doesn’t want to go. She said by her making a car reservation (she didn’t pay for it, and the reservation is in my name) implied that she wanted to go and that she didn’t mention anything about not going.

I kept saying sorry and I told her she didn’t seem like she really wanted to go and keeps saying she’s good. I even offered to pay for another comedy thing for her but she’s said no. I didn’t mention anything about the concert to my cousin and I really feel bad for doing this to my mom. I understand why my mom is mad and every time I ask she says just take your cousin. The concert is in 2 days.

What should I do. Should I go ahead and take my cousin or keep pressing my mom?
