Got hired for a job at 8 months pregnant!

I worked at a university in accounting for 6 years. I left 6 months ago for an opportunity with the state. I’ve hated every second of it since I started, to the point of crying every day when I got off work. I have been seriously dreading going back to work after my maternity leave because I will have to work so many hours overtime (unpaid) to make up for my time off and also year end responsibilities.

I applied for a different job back at the university I worked for, knowing I probably wouldn’t get it since I was 8 months pregnant (I know by law they can’t discriminate, but they can find other reasons to not hire you and say it’s because of that).

I just got the call today that I did get the job! I’m so excited I could cry!!
