Anencephaly

So I had my NT scan at 13+4 on Wednesday, and that afternoon my GP rang to make an appointment with him for the following day.

When I got there my GP told me that they aren't 100% sure but there is suspected anencephaly. I'd never even heard of it until now

I've had so much trouble with fertility, haven't conceived for over 10 years and now this?!

I honestly don't know what I'm feeling exactly

I'm now waiting for a specialist hospital to call me with an appointment for a 3D scan and further testing.

Has anyone had this or similar happen and have the results turn out just fine ?
