Nervous about being a boy mom

We found out yesterday that we’re having a boy! I’m nervous about being a good parent though. Like you have to teach them how to respect and treat women and I don’t want people to think they’re automatically tough or anything like that just because they’re a boy.

My mother in law made a comment about trading in a tutu for hot wheels because she thought we were having a girl and I don’t want to deal with her saying things like that. Like if my son wants to wear a tutu he’s gonna wear one.

What was it like with your boys? I’m just excited I’ll have a little buddy to go do fun things with like go to the zoo or science museum or childrens concerts.
