Gender for Twins?

Hi twin mamas! My OB said we won't be able to find out then gender for sure until our anatomy scan but I see others who have had bloodwork done. We're doing all of the genetic testing next week and I thought we could find out with that bloodwork but my OB said it'll only tell us one baby. How did you guys find out?

I could be wrong but from my understanding, the bloodwork would identify the presence of a Y chromosome (male). Meaning if they find Y chromosomes, there’s at least one boy, but they cant say for sure if they’re both boys. If there’s no Y chromosome present, then they’re both girls.

I had the MATERNITI21 plus genetic test done with my twins. If you read the “lab director comments” it tells you a percentage of what they believe the twins to be . They thought mine would be boy/girl. I got these results around 13 weeks . 
At 14 weeks I went for a gender ultrasound and both are boys! I fall into the 4.4% range. 
If you do get a test like this just take it with a grain or salt, can always defy the odds!

I did sneekpeak to find out I’m having boys but I’m also having identical mo/mo twins so they have to be the same gender

My babies are identical so that is easy for me but I thought the bloodwork could tell you identical or fraternal and the sex of each. What testing are you getting done? I was told the bloodwork would tell me even before I found out they were identical. Currently waiting on results to come back so I still don’t know for sure.
