Young love

I was not mentally prepared for my 12.5 year old to just ask me how to ask a girl out, nope, not one ounce. I don’t think I’ve ever stuttered more in my life.

What are your rules on young “dating” and I put “dating” in quotes because they can’t date, where are they going that a parent isn’t an eyeball away. I know I had crushes in 6th grade and a “boyfriend” which is just laughable looking back on it. It consisted of purely AIM messenger conversations and awkward note passing in the halls😂. Experienced mothers of pubescent kids, HELP! These kids are way more advanced than our generation was at 12, but I don’t know that my son or this girl are. I’ve seen their text conversations (unknown to him🤭) for months and they are VERY innocent.
