Would y’all be irritated with your DD for drinking?

Last weekend my friends and i went to bar that’s about 40 minutes from us. One of our friends agreed to DD because she can’t drink with the medicine she takes. My friend hasn’t drank in over a year due to a traumatic situation she endured and then with her medication she just doesn’t want to. She does drink a little bit of wine or hard cider every so often. When we got to the bar she wanted to take a shot, which i thought was okay since we had just gotten there (around 10) and weren’t going to be leaving for a while. I also figured it would take the edge off a little bit. One of our other friends said it wasn’t a good idea because of her medicine, which she agreed, and then just dropped the topic. About an hour or so later, these same friends come back to our table, and our DD is drinking a trash can. I questioned my other friend as to why 1 shot was bad, but not a whole trash can that she can “sip on.” Even when this same friend was drinking, she was a major light weight, so between knowing that and not knowing how drinking and her medication is going to mix, I stopped drinking in case I was going to have to drive us home. I feel like this is all bugging me so badly because I was just in a car accident the week before and have been almost terrified of driving anymore than I need to, which my friends all know because i was explaining everything to them earlier that day. It also started snowing kinda badly and I really wasn’t trying to drive someone else’s car, in the snow, for 40 minutes when I had drank too (i had 2 beers before I stopped drinking.) I haven’t talked to my friends since saturday night because this all bothered me so much, but a part of me feels like i’m overreacting.
