Need advice

Sabrina 🌈

Hi ladies,

Hoping someone can give me advice. I had my first baby in April 2020 and ended up having an emergency c section because labor was not progressing after 30+ hours. It’s always been my dream to deliver vaginally and I really want to try for a VBAC. Based on what I see online, I am a candidate.

I moved to a different state and have a new doc here. I love her, but she doesn’t do VBACs. I had my 9 week appointment and she said I’d have a scheduled c section this time. She’s in a super busy clinic and scheduled all my appointments up until 20 weeks to make sure I got in. I found another clinic that does VBACs, but in order to have a consultative appointment with me, they want me to transfer all my medical records. If I do that, the original clinic cancels all my appointments. I don’t know what to do, I don’t want to transfer because I don’t know if I will like this new clinic.

I looked into birthing centers too for VBACs but they don’t take my insurance 😩. What would you do?
