seizure?
this is the only place i can ask for help with this
i had to get some blood work done today for some severe chest pain. i felt completely fine up until she pulled the needle out and turned to place the tubes down, and then in her words i had a “grand mal seizure” right in the chair, i was out for well over 2 minutes while she screamed for help but due to low staff she had to leave me in the chair once i stopped seizing to run into the other room for help. i opened my eyes maybe three minutes after it started, but once i was up it sounded like i had a mouthful of food while talking or like my tongue was swollen? and i typed like i was back in kindergarten going one letter at a time and was extremely slow. i’ve passed out before a lot from blood word, but this was a whole different thing. i was examined and they deemed me to be ok, but they kept saying i just passed out, even while the only lady who saw it happen was very insistent on it being a seizure and everyone who saw me prior to that happening was confirming that i wasn’t acting right. they sent me home after that and it wasn’t until four hours later that i regained my speech and even now at 6 hours later i still feel sick and like i’m gonna throw up. was it a seizure? and who do i contact about this because this is the second time ive looked like i had a seizure but the first one was 6 years ago at a pool party so they assumed i was dehydrated, and they did an EEG test a year after that and determined i didn’t have a seizure. I don’t know what to do, i have low confidence in my hospital due to countless medical errors they have made and dismissal of any of my concerns, so any help or advise is appreciated until i can call around on monday
