Is this a birthmark? I noticed it on my 4 week old and thought it was a scratch but it hasn’t gone away.

Yupp! Looks like a hemangioma!
They grow rapidly in the first year. They then stop growing and begin to shrink. They often disappear completely by age 2-3. They are harmless! 
My daughter is 6 months old and has a decent sized one on top of her head. It’s already stopped growing.
I’m not a doctor so get confirmation from your pediatrician!

It’s a strawberry hemangioma! My daughter got one that I noticed a week or so after birth. It grew as she grew but now she is two and it’s almost completely gone. Pediatrician said don’t worry as long as it’s not too large and pretty flat, also not on the face or anything.

Normal! My daughter has one on her wrist and one on her back/butt. They are hemangiomas and harmless and doctor says they should go away on their own by school age
