Maybe kind of weird? Have finally decided on baby girl number 2’s first name: Roux. But we are stumped where middle names that would sound good and flow correctly with it are concerned. Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated. TIA. ❤️

This has been brought up dozens of times, and I’ll give the same response. Yes, it is a type of sauce base. It also has other meaning in different locations around the world, as most words do these days. When used as a name, you’d find different definitions; such as red, russet, etc. My partner is not a fan of other spellings, so we chose this one, knowing full well its various meanings. You’d be surprised how far up peoples backs get when discussing someone else’s chosen name, it’s almost silly in light of everything going on in the world right now.
I do appreciate that you breached the subject a little more gently than others have been known to on other posts- and a genuine thank you for the suggestions!
