Do you share a bank account with your spouse?

I have ZERO interest in ever sharing a bank account with my husband....my parents never did either...is that weird? We have always both worked since we were teens and always had our own bank accounts. We didn't even discuss joining when we got married. I think it's weird and pointless, lol.

For our situation he pays the mortgage/ house bills and I'll do the grocery a s household essential /kids needs shopping so I don't see a point of having our checks go into one account plus I like my independence. Always have. I like my own checkings and savings accounts lol

I don't know how some women have to ask their spouse for money either 🥴

I guess if you're a stay at home mom /wife and don't work / have income then you'd want to be on his bank account I would assume. I guess.
