My daughter, who turned 4 today, started Head Start back in December. I was so worried about leaving her with people I’ve never met (until then I never left her with anyone I didn’t known and trust.) I was also worried about how she would adjust. She loves school and I feel very comfortable with her teacher. Her teacher called one morning to let me know she accidentally scratched my daughter on the face with her nail when she caught my daughter from falling on ice and just today she FaceTimed me while in the middle of class so they could sing happy birthday to my daughter (we kept her home because she’s not feeling well.)
