Is it weird?

Is it weird that my husband and I don't sleep in the same bed? For the last couple years he sleeps In the living room. Our work schedules were opposite so we didn't want to wake each so at started off here and there...he also shoulder surgery and had to sleep on the recliner til it healed...we got in an argument once and he had to sleep there, I had another baby and it just became permanent lol. My one year old sleeps in the bedroom w me and sometimes in the bed w me so there's really no room but it does kinda put a damper on our connection I feel.

Maybe it's time to put baby in their own room and start sleeping with your husband again. The other circumstances I can understand, but not being able to share a bed with your husband because you're sharing with a child is definitely something that can be changed.

The 1 yr old need to be in their own bed and room at this stage 
Your husband should really get priority to his bed now it’s been long enough 
But talk to him and see how he feels bout it

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with sleeping in different beds. I know lot of people who do it and there’s actually been studies that have shown it’s better for marriage. But if you feel that it’s effecting your connection with your husband, then it’s a conversation to have.

I couldn't personally do it but my boss and his wife do because he is basically a narcoleptic and falls asleep anywhere he lays vertically, on the couch, floor, kids beds, even on the couch in my office if he lays on it. We are very close friends so that's how I know this but it works for them and she doesn't seem to have a problem with it. Whatever works for you!
