Crib or bassinet

So I don’t know if I should get a crib or a bassinet.

Please help me decide. Nursery room is right next to our bedroom. We might need to have baby in our bedroom for a year maybe (it’s just how my family did)

The crib I chose fits in our room next to my bed.

Pros: It would be good that baby doesn’t need to be transitioned to a crib.

Cons: we have to remove nightstands and place bed against the wall to fit in crib.

The bassinet I chose opens one side.

Pros: Easier access to baby since I’ll be having a c-section. But then I’d have family member help me too.

Has wheels and can be moved.

Cons: Can only use for a couple months.

Might need to bring the crib into the bedroom if necessary.

It would be nice not the spend extra cash on a bassinet and have no storage for it too.
