Baby acne or eczema?

The doctor diagnosed him with baby acne and said to do nothing. However it is so dry and seems to be getting worse day by day! It seems so mild sometimes but then he gets warm or angry and it gets a lot worse. Wondering if anyone went through this before and has any tips!

I have no advice but I’m going through the same thing. I was told to try putting breast milk on it, and it did nothing. My daughter had baby acne also but it only stayed less than 2 weeks for her. It’s been 3 weeks that my son has had this acne and it’s still not gone, but just like the other commenter said, I’ve only been wiping with water now and no lotions/shampoos and it is looking a little better.

My kids all have eczema. My newborn has a rash like this too and I think it’s more of an acne/dermatitis than a true eczema. We were told to wipe with a warm washcloth daily with just water and it’s maybe 90% gone now! Not sure if it’s the same thing yours has but worth a try!

Is he having normal (color smell texture) BM? 
Is he colic at all?
