Darcy Mac for a baby boy?

Question

I know Darcy is on the rise as a girls' name but I've always thought of it as a boys' name myself.  Maybe my love of Pride and Prejudice is swaying me...  I'm in the US for reference.
If it is too girly, some suggestions would be welcome!  I'm looking for a softer name with an Irish background. :)

I like the idea of it but I don’t think I would actually go through with it. my BIL has a name that is commonly also a girls name and hates it. 😕

Mac is a nickname in my head. like nickname for a perosn who’s last name starts w it … I like Darcy. i didn’t know people were using it as a girls name?
