Summer Newborns

I know I’m probably overthinking - but what do you put your newborns in in summer? My first was an October baby so it was long sleeves, pants and socks or footie pajamas all the time and bundled in a blanket for the entire “newborn” stage. I feel like so many people around me underdress their babies and their little skin is so cold but I also don’t want to overdress her and have her cooking in the heat of summer. Our average July temps are mid 90’s to low 100’s so we also aren’t often outside anyways unless it’s earlier in the morning but I do have a toddler who loves to be outdoors so I imagine I will spend plenty of time sitting in the shade with the baby while he plays with his cousins. By afternoon though it’s just too hot to be outside, so then we’re in the air conditioned house which can be chilly too. The little summer rompers are so cute and all but I just feel like it’s so much exposed skin especially during the first few months. Help!
