Irish twins?

Does anyone have Irish twins? What is it like? Do you regret not waiting or is it a good age gap?

I don’t know of anyone who would willingly have Irish twins! It’s almost always a “whoops” baby.
Any doctor will say that you need to wait at least 12-18 months postpartum before you start trying again because you’re at a very very high risk of complications and health issues to you or baby if you don’t wait until your body is fully healed!

I do not and do not wish it. I’m smart enough to wait the 18 months pp minimum to start trying for another baby. 
There are serious health risks into not waiting, not just with you but future baby also. Plus it takes away from the first child being baby and you enjoying it.

We willing wanted our kids close in age.... In 4 months we're about to have irish triplets! I wouldn't trade it for the world, but we are definitely in survival mode!!!

I had Irish twins, and it definitely wasn't planned. Usually never is. It was super hard for the first few years, but now mine are fixing to be 7 and 6. They are each other's best friend, and they're actually in the same grade together in school. My 7yr old failed kindergarten, so that's why. I don't think she was ready for school, but now  maybe because her sister is with her it's actually motivated her? Not sure but they both love school now lol. I don't think I would do it again personally. One the doctors do say you should wait for your body to completely heal before having a baby(a year or more.) It didn't really take a toll on me health wise except I didn't get a chance to lose the baby weight from the first, and then I gained more with the 2nd. I've been stuck at 187lbs ever since no matter what I do. I was 208 after the 2nd baby, but before having these kiddos I was around 130 just so you can get the picture. Oh and that was after my son was born 5yrs previous. It's up to you, but it's really not easy at all.
