Not baby related, just need thoughts

A little back story, when I was 18 I was in college and I dropped out, because I was super immature and just wasn’t committed. Fast forward to now I’m 25 with a toddler & baby due in April. I’m wanting to go back to school to originally do what I wanted (which is nursing). I won’t be finished until I’m 29. I guess what I’m trying to ask is if you’ve been in a similar situation did you just have a lot of regrets not getting it done before hand, & how did you cope with kids and going to school & potentially having to get a job? I just wish I would of done this before so I can financially support my kids and it’s just been wearing down on me lately having to depend so much on my family.
