Is implantation bleeding really a thing?

I ask because when I’ve had healthy pregnancies, I’ve never spotted or had implantation bleeding. When I got pregnant with my latest baby that ended in MC I had what would seem was implantation spotting. Now I’m 6dpo and had one instance of light pink spotting when I wiped that has since stopped. Don’t want to get my hopes up that this is implantation and then be disappointed. 
A few other facts:
*first cycle since MC
*I always spot from 6dpo until my period at 14 dpo despite having my progesterone checked and confirmed it’s fine

I only had it with my 3rd, nothing with my 1st two. It’s considered “implantation” spotting as a label as that’s what makes most sense in regards to what it could be but technically could be just some random spotting for any number of reasons pregnancy related or not!

I've had it. Light pink spotting when I wiped once mixed with CM on the day my app said I should be experiencing it & I was pregnant. It was a very small amount. & no cramping at that time. Cramping started days/week after that happened

I had it with 2 out of 3 pregnancies but I've had mid cycle spotting several times. Honestly, you just have to wait and see. Good luck and baby dust!

It definitely is a thing, just not everyone has it. It’s light bleeding for a short period of time. For me it was light and for a day or two. Tracked it with when I conceived with my first.

Spotting can happen for a multitude of reasons. There is no proof that implantation can even cause bleeding since it's microscopic. However spotting in early pregnancy is incredibly common
