Android phone help

I’m posting this in an attempt to help one of my friends. She messaged me this morning that she feels strange about an interaction involving her husband. He gets up for work before she does and this morning he didn’t turn off the alarm on his phone right away, which woke her up. She rolled over half asleep thinking maybe he was sleeping through it, and she saw that he had his phone in his hand and an app was loading like he had just tapped on it. His phone alarm was still going off, and as she rolled over, he seemed to quickly hit the lock button which silenced it and he turned over to fully wake up, then got up to get ready for work. She’s uneasy because she said it seemed a little like he was opening something and then quickly locked his phone when she rolled over, like he was hiding something. She says she did bring up to him casually that his alarm was going off even though he was on his phone and he told her he had subconsciously opened it to pull up the weather out of habit (her husband works outside…mine does as well and I know the first thing he does in the morning is check the weather to see what to expect for the day) and being half asleep he didn’t realize the alarm was still going off. She sees where that could happen, but her issue is how he switched it off so quickly when she started to roll over and she also said what she saw loading on his phone doesn’t look anything like any of the weather apps she has on her phone (hers is an iPhone, his is a Samsung that operates with Android). I guess it was a light purple background and all of hers use a blue theme. I have an iPhone but she messaged me because she thought my husband has an Android phone and that I could check what his weather app looks like when loading, but my husband switched to an iPhone a couple months ago.

So what I’m wondering with all this is - can anyone with an Android phone see what theirs looks like when they open the weather app, just so I can try to put her mind at ease? She isn’t sure which app he uses, but she knows it’s one of the most common ones like Weather.com or accurate weather. Before anyone bashes her - she is normally not the paranoid type. She’s never had a reason not to trust her husband and she told me she feels really silly, she just can’t shake the weird feeling she has because of how the interaction went with him locking his phone like he was hiding something from her. I can definitely understand his explanation about opening the weather while not being fully awake and not even realizing the alarm was still on, and I can see where her rolling over could have snapped him out of it and he just hit the button instinctively to shut off the alarm sound. So I know if I can give her info about a weather app that matches what she described she saw, she’ll feel a lot better.
