Would you’d want your partners passwords while in a long distance relationship ?

My partner and I have broken trust the main cause is social media is it wrong to have passwords to basic social media to offer some security? I’m not saying you have to use them or snoop. But just having them you know you can look anytime but won’t feel compelled to just because you know you have it and can at any time.

No. If I can’t trust an adult alone with their own social media, I’m just not going to be in a relationship with them. It’s not my job to police their usage.

(I did long distance relationship for 3 years and still with him 11 years later and multiple social media from Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, bebo, tagged and online gaming at the time of long distance and where adults)

I was in a long distance relationship with my husband for almost two years and I never had his passwords, nor did he have mine. I wouldn't make that a requirement in a relationship, long distance or otherwise.

My husband and I have eachothers passwords to everything just because we’ve always been open about that stuff. If it’s somthing that would make you feel more comfortable just talk to your other half about it. Not harm no foul

In my long distance we knew each other’s just cause we didn’t care. I never snooped until the end and that’s when I found out he was cheating on me. My husband and I know each other’s passwords but both have such shit memory we hardly remember lol
